Art by Marit is my new webbshop for prints and paintings.

My name is Marit Björkbacka and I am a finnish artist living in the town of Porvoo in Southern Finland. I have many years of experience as a photographer and artistic painter.

From 2019 I have been studying art in the artschool Hera Helsinki - Helsinki Atelier of Representational Art. I graduated i july 2023 and artistic painting have been my passion since a long time ago.

In 2017 I became a photographer when I graduated from Helsinki Design School in Helsinki.
